To see the world through baby eyes is to catch sight of the wonderment and awe of creation. Jesus would teach that there are three qualities to cultivate as a divine human being: expressing ones heart as a flower, speaking truth and seeing through the eyes of a baby. To see with baby eyes is to glimpse the present moment without the past clouding your vision or the future casting doubt and uncertainty. To the one that sees with the eyes of a baby, there is no past nor is there any future. Baby eyes are non-judgmental and see life from a non-attached state of being where there is never any prejudice but always a sense of openness and newness. Observing life with the eyes of a baby offers a gift that is always present for you. And that gift is beauty. With baby eyes you are seeing from your heart all the love and light that is before you without darkness shedding it’s shadow over precious moments of time. A smile and baby eyes may be the means that you will need to be able to discover the pathway into the Kingdom of God.
By flickering golden candle light with the soothing sound of falling leaves in the background Jesus would say, “In a moment’s pause, the heart waits for the loving thoughts of the heavens. In this instant the soul speaks to the mind to spark the remembrance of divine presence and then waits, as one does for a child to take it’s first step.” Jesus would pause to let this metaphoric imagery sink in before continuing, “The unity of our heart and mind is of utmost importance to our spiritual journey, our happiness and our fulfillment in life. This consciousness of the heart is to be found within the inner reaches of our Kingdom Within. Our heart is truly holy and the reservoir of our sacred blood. It is the legendary Holy Grail. But only those that have pierced the veil of the ego may understand and present this holy vessel to the outside world. When there is a consciousness in and of the heart, the illusions of life disappear and one’s divinity surfaces from the deep underwaters of earthly life.” “Why is heart disease the number one killer today?” A student would ask of Jesus. “Why, the light has gone out of the Grail.” Jesus would reply and then continue on, “Many people’s hearts are cold and heavy from the stresses and the pressures of life and the rampant greed and materialism. A compassionate voice, forgiveness and love from the heart are not qualities cultivated by society nor are they foremost in one’s mind when one is striving to fulfill a materialistic dream of power. Add to this that we have all had our hearts broken, but few have mended them. Only through the wholeness of heart may we restore the holiness of self. Long ago science and modern medicine expelled God, while organized religion cast out nature. Today we are paying the price. The key to the heart is the mind and the secret to the mind is the heart. By banishing God and nature, reality is totally seen from a left-brain prospective. And this, my dear friends, is one of the root causes to the pain and suffering of today. I know that the newest trend today is in mind/body medicine and research. However, until God and nature are welcomed back, little progress will be made. In my opinion, this progressive enlightened study and research needs not to be of the mind and body but of the heart and mind.” “How do I mend my broken heart?” A friend would ask of Jesus. “Forgiveness, first and foremost, begins the healing.” Jesus would respond in a compassionate voice. “Our hearts are the sanctuary of heaven and earth. And to rebuild our sanctuary, which will become stronger, requires the work of heaven and the earth. Forgiveness and divine love is our work of the earth while compassion, faith and trust is the heavenly piece of our effort. As the brokenness is mended, our heart begins to blossom as a flower and the beauty and light, that has been trapped in darkness, explodes forth bringing joy and happiness to life.” Jesus would finish by saying, “I was a student of the Egyptian Mystery Teachings, as Moses was, and they had a beautiful symbolic metaphor for our purpose and goal on earth. At the moment of physical death, as your soul is passing over to the heavens, your heart is weighted against a white feather. If your heart is light and balances with the feather, you have fulfilled your purpose and you no longer need to return to the earth.”
“Truth is ___________, my dear students, fill in the blank.” Jesus would smile and say, “I know my truth, but my truth may not be your truth. You need to discover and uncover your truth. Truth is revealed not within our minds or in the words, dogma or doctrine of others but it originates within our heart and is uncovered through our experiences based on common sense, compassion and love. Our search in life is for truth, but sadly, few seek this elusive element of life instead choosing to believe in and to follow others, their dogma, as their truth. Open your eyes, I say, and question. And then search and discover your own revelations. Heads of organizations, whether they are secular or religious, usually have truth based on their, or their organizations, best interest, i.e. greed and earthly power. It is up to you to see and not to be as sheep but as wolves.” Jesus would continue by explaining, “Look to the heavens and the earth for truth and observe all of nature. It is here that you will find the oneness that is truth. Sit alone and quiet your mind and listen to the heartbeat of the earth, and see the passing of time recorded in the heavens and then look within your heart and glimpse, ever so briefly, the light of truth.” Jesus would finish by saying, “One expression of our divinity, and a quality to nurture, is talking our truth. I call this ‘true talk’. It is not straight talk, the language of politicians and corporate America. But it is the words of truth from our heart.” |
