KINDNESS

 “Kindness is the caressing angelic spirit of life.” Jesus would say. “It’s the light that you bring to another’s darkness through caring acts of compassion and love. A word spoken in kindness to anyone, especially a stranger, may lift the person out of the depths of despair and in the totality of his or her being may ultimately save a life. By opening the light of your soul to all the ones that cross your path, you may be the catalyst that helps them pass through the barriers of fear and thus loosen the kindness that has been locked away within their hearts.

By bringing joy to others through our kindness and our peacefulness, the world brightens and our soul rejoices in the love that we have shown to others. To be kind is to be strong and to be forgiving. It is our spirit, gentle as a breeze, and our heart, glowing with kindness, that provides us with the strength of the bamboo as it sways ever so softly, touched by the winds of life. Consistent kindness helps liberate one’s self from the ongoing stresses of life and brings the divinity that is within us to the outside world. Kindness sets us free and lightens our heart while greed and materialism imprisons us and hardens our soul. To distribute kindness is to do the work of the heart that brings peace to our minds and joy to the world.

Let all that we come in contact with see the kindness of our heart through our radiate face and eyes. This expression of love will uplift others more than we will ever know.” 

Jesus would finish by saying, “Sometimes the greatest kindness is not what we think it would be. Words from our heart may be kind words but occasionally they may be tough to hear because they are the words that need to be said that no one has had the courage to say. They may sting but a great kindness is done when we present to others a light to their darkness.”
