Humans are basically 'wayfarers' or wanderers ever seeking, consciously or unconsciously, home, a return to paradise where our fathers and mothers came from—our ancestors, and the mountain where the ancient ones communed directly with heaven. So it is that sacred pilgrimage extends far back into the very haze of humanities awakening as a source and wellspring of religious culture and myth. To ever seek over the far horizon stirs the very lifeblood of the spiritual wayfarer in their on-going quest for the magic and power of the un-familiar and the ever aliveness of that moment of sacred space and sacred time. To quest is to feel alive; to feel alive is to quest.

Down through the ages, there have been many myths and whisperings of ancient enlightened civilizations—the mythic Golden Ages. The names have varied but two stand out—Atlantis and Lemuria known simply as Mu. Supposedly, these spiritual cultures were the seed source of the ancient mystery schools of Egypt, Peru and Mexico as well as the Greek and Druid mystery schools. 

The Golden Age is equivalent to a Sun Age—an Age of the Stars. This is the Sun (Star) behind our sun and moon. Ranging from the myths of the Greeks to the mythic history of the Mesoamericans, the Golden Age was the first of six Ages. The fifth Age is our present Age known to the Greeks as the Iron Age and to the Mesoamericans as the Fifth Sun.

Humanity is nearing the end of the Fifth Age, by all accounts the darkest Age of all Ages. To the Mesoamericans the end of the Fifth Sun has been prophesied to occur on the Winter Solstice of 2012. We believe that we are now in the transition times that scan the ending of the Fifth Sun and the beginning of the Sixth Sun, the Age of Aquarius, and better known as the foretold Golden Age.
