Awakening
Our immortal ‘spark,’
this starlight that we have within us needs to awaken, to grow and to be
brought to the surface and then nourished until its radiance suffuses our loved
ones, friends, community and the earth.
Natural
Law
n
Natural law is
based on a belief in the inherent natural altruistic law of God that is found
within each person.
n
This is the
source of our ability as a Divine Human Being to express forgiveness,
compassion and unconditional love to self and to others.
n
This Natural Law
lies dormant until awakened by each person.
n
It may be
awakened by what is call participation mystique.
Participation
Mystique
n
This is a
‘knowing’ of the things of life and their inherent mysteries
through the experience of the mundane as well as the spiritual.
n
It is an
immersion in the mysteries of nature and the seeking of knowledge through
mystical participation. This results in a transformation of consciousness.
The Pathway of Divine Humanity
Awakening
to a New Consciousness
n
Divine
Humanity’s Transformational Pathway is anchored in the transformational
ability to ‘let go’ or detach from the emotional, mental and
physical enemies such as stupidity, ignorance, arrogance, guilt, anger and
fear, the mental illusion of ego and the spiritual separation of self.
n
To awaken is to
realize our divineness and our relationship, our partnership, with all other
things of heaven and earth.
n
This realization
must occur within the heart and flow out from there to a new consciousness of
being.
n
This is a
consciousness that first and foremost recognizes the oneness of self and the
oneness of others. It is a consciousness that lets us known within the core of
our soul the non-dualistic interpenetration of all things that our culture and
society deems as being separate and opposite.
The Four Winds
n
In
acknowledgement of the reign of God outside of us in the earth of our birth,
Divine Humanity’s Pathway honors and is structured around the four
directions, or if you will, the four winds of the earth as well as the four
basic elements and the four seasons delineated by the two equinoxes and the two
solstices.
n
The Path of
Forgiveness in the South
n
The Path of
Divine Love in the West
n
The Path of Peace
and Harmony in the North
n
The Path of
Oneness in the East
The Fifth Direction
n
Our Pathway also
recognizes the fifth direction—the center of the mandala, the center of the
circle where the interpenetration of heaven and earth occurs.
n
The center is
metaphorically a reflection of our heart, the core of our soul – our
divineness, and our mind – our humanness—the interpenetration of
heaven and earth—Divinehood.
The Feathered Serpent: The
Pathway as Archetypal and Mythological
n
Divine Humanity
as an ecological religion and philosophy recognizes the importance and the
divinity of nature.
n
It would only
make sense to utilize our Pathway as a reflection and representation of the
archetypical and actual power of nature.
n
The feathered
serpent is the perfect archetypical representation of Divinehood. It is
symbolic of the unity, equality and interpenetration of heaven and earth
energies.
n
In addition,
Divine Humanity’s Feathered Serpent Mandala or Medicine Wheel honors the
indigenous people of the Americas.
Is Divine Humanity’s
Pathway the only way to Awaken?
No, there are many ‘paths’
up the symbolic mountain. Divine Humanity’s Pathway is only one. It does
not matter if you follow Divine Humanity’s Pathway or another one that
speaks to you. The goal is awakening, that is most important, not the path that
took you to your awakening.
