THE DA VINCI CODE
“When Black crows will beget white
doves in your house, then will you be called wise.”
Carved inscription, Villa Palombara, Rome
The world is what you think it is… individual reality
is based on a framed imagery of beliefs, assumptions and expectations, which
may be conscious and/or unconscious. A Christian discussing the Holy Grail will
do so based on their Truth as they see it, which flows from the foundational
beliefs/dogma/doctrine of Christianity. Thus, the Holy Grail would not be
identified as being the ‘sacred womb of the feminine,’ but as the
‘cup that held the sacred blood of Jesus.’
We tend to forget that writers present their truth through
their own personal prism of reality, which makes the world a wondrous diverse
realm of being. However, to accept anything blindly as absolute truth from
anyone, including myself, will only keep you chained to a
steel encased mill-stone of ignorance.
If you are a Christian, you would never open your eyes
and/or heart to the truth that quite possibly, the Holy Grail is the
‘sacred womb of the feminine.’ As this would totally go against the
Christian dogma and doctrine of original sin… how could we be born in
original sin if the womb holding the ‘little one’ is sacred and
pure? And how about the earth, which is symbolically viewed as feminine? If it
is sacred, how can we participate in its abuse, rape and desecration?
And I must ask; how many have taken the time to ponder these
points and questions? Is it that we are so busy questing for the
‘bubble’ of the great American materialistic dream that we are so
focused on the quest that questions and thoughts such as these are never
considered?
And this brings me to my topic, the controversy of the Da
Vinci Code. Even though I have not read the book, during the 1990's, Sherry and I traveled, guided groups*
and spent time in the Languedoc region in the south of France
with a friend of ours, Elizabeth Van Buren, who is a master of symbology, mythology and the spiritual teachings of the region including Rennes-le-Chateau.
The following pages will focus on a few of the controversial subjects contained within the Da Vinci Code:
These pages will be forthcoming:
Symbolism, The Holy Grail, The Black Madonna, Knights Templar, Sacred Science
*We are planning another journey to the Pyrenees, Rennes-le-Chateau, the Black Madonna and other mysteries contained within the Da Vinci Code during November, 2006. If you are interested in joining us on this journey, please e-mail us for more information at – spirit@divinehumanity.com.
