THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS ON DIVINE HUMANITY
Divine Humanity puts in prospective the truth
that the earth is not the center of creation. With a minimum of eight billion
galaxies it is reasoned and intuited that humanity is not alone nor is it the
only children (sentient beings) of God. Thus, humanity is neither the center
nor the whole of the great Mystery, but only a part of the whole of creation.
Any explanation or teaching of the mysteries, as well as any religious,
philosophical, scientific theories based on isolation, centeredness and
exclusivity (the only sentient beings) would be viewed as religiously and
spiritually ignorant and immature. Divine Humanism,
from the core concept of it’s name, believes in direct intuitive experience of
the great Mystery, ultimate reality, as well as the merging and equilibrium of
intuition (contemplation, vision) and reason (observation, analysis). To deny
one or the other is sheer folly. Divine Humanism
does not believe in barriers or boundaries. In statement of this, Divine Humanism cuts across and eliminates all
aspects of separatism and isolationism of race, sex, and religion. In the eyes
of Divine Humanity, there is only one race
and that is the human race whose divinity is it’s unity and it’s humanness is
it’s diversity.
“We have made a long forward step in cosmic adjustment—a step that is unquestionable and irreversible. We must get used to the fact that we are peripheral, that we move along with our star, the sun, in the outer part of a galaxy that is one among billions of star-rich galaxies. No field of inquiry is more fascinating than a search for humanity or something like humanity in the mystery-filled happy lands beyond the barriers of interstellar space.”
Dr. Shapley, Harvard College Observatory.

“Envision a world that believes in Divine Humanity and its message of purity, unity and equality. This would be a golden age where love, peace and harmony rule the day. A society where each citizen strives each day to express his or her divinity, and when mistakes are made and words are spoken in anger and fear (our humanity), forgiveness is given and the emotional wounds are healed. This would be a culture where 'turning one's cheek' and 'loving one's enemies' are not hollow phrases but are true expressions.” JC Husfelt, D.D.
ALOHA: This is the loving Hawaiian greeting. It
essentially means that I acknowledge the creator (divinity) within you as you
acknowledge the creator (divinity) within me. Alo means “in the presence of” and Ha is “the breath of
life/creation.” Aloha is a wonderful gift and a most beautiful way
to express the message that we are all divine human beings and that the Kingdom
of God is truly within us. The Aloha spirit is the spirit of oneness and
the love that is the breath of the soul and it is a loving state of mind where
hate has no resting place. To the Hawaiians Aloha represents love. All
of life was founded on this love, the love of the sea, the love of the sky and
the love of the land and all its inhabitants. And to these beautiful people the
greatest earthly expression of this love was the love of family. A Hawaiian saying to always keep close to
your heart is Ua Ola Loko I Ke Aloha, which means—Love gives life
within.

ARCHANGELS/ANGELS: Divine
Humanity acknowledges the existence and presence of spiritually evolved
unique divine intrinsic expressions. These expressions of creation have various
degrees of elevated love/light vibrational essences’ according to their own
divine reflection. In the past and present, these divine beings, intrinsic in
their own right, have been referred to, for example, as Angels, Archangels,
Bodhisattvas, Gods and Goddesses. These divine essences’ are a part of and
connected to our human family and may be looked to for guidance, support and
assistance. Divine Humanity may be looked at
as the “Religion of the Angels or Soul Companion.”
CLERGY: Divine Humanity religious leaders
are guides and counselors not gatekeepers. With each person being divine as
well as human, people only need guidance, not patriarchal or matriarchal
hierarchical authoritarianism to help achieve personal destiny and spiritual
evolution. The closest archetypal comparison of Divine
Humanity religious leaders would be of the shamans (druids-ovates,
mystics, kahunas, etc.) of the past rather than the priests (cleric, minister,
nun, monk, etc.) of the present. Even though the shamans were gatekeepers in
their own right, it was not the separation of self and nature and fear that the
church and clergy provide today through their dogma and doctrine.
Another comparison from the past to Divine Humanity religious leaders in the present
would be the Celtic Church’s concept of a Soul-Friend. The Soul-Friend
was a spiritual mentor and spiritual guide who helped one find their spiritual
path and then counseled them in walking that path.
DEATH: Death is something that we do while we are still alive and is nothing
more than the ending of an old way of being (death) and the beginning of the
new way of being (re-birth). The mythological and symbolic importance of death
and re-birth is at the heart of Divine Humanity.
FAITH: Faith is of one’s self as a divine human in seeking and discovering
the mysteries of life/death and creation and in the innate goodness or
love/light of all creation. This is not the outer faith or blind faith in the
dogma or doctrine of a human created finite external organization such as
organized religion but the inner faith recognizing one’s divinity, one’s
humanity and the Kingdom of God Within and Without.
HEART: The spiritual
seat of the soul is the heart while the spiritual gateway is the pineal gland.
The heart is holy and the reservoir of a divine human’s
sacred blood. The heart is the legendary Holy Grail. Divine
Humanity believes that the unity of the heart and mind is of utmost
importance to a person’s spiritual journey, happiness and fulfillment in life.
ORIGINAL SIN: There is no concept of original sin in Divine
Humanity. Each person at birth is divine as the love/light of God enters
into the human baby. At birth each is divine and human. With this belief there
is no ‘gate-keeping’ concept of Grace.
PASSING OVER: Divine Humanity, as a religion of
immortality, believes in everlasting life, with only the outward form changing.
Thus the physical death of form is only a Passing Over, a freedom of the soul,
not a death or a passing away.
PRAYER: Every word and every thought is a prayer to God that vibrates through
the golden streams of time and creation. Divine
Humanity believes that effective prayer depends more on one’s constant
words, thoughts and deeds rather than hollow words repeated from a book or from
memory occasionally.
REINCARNATION: Divine Humanity believes in the
incarnation of human souls until the earth is not needed any longer for divine
evolution and thus the soul moves to another part of creation to further
evolve.
SACRED TEXTS: In the eyes of Divine Humanity
every text may be sacred as well as profane. Some are more sacred than others
and it is up to each individual utilizing intuition and reason to determine
what words are divinely inspired or humanly filtered. There is no one sacred
text that supercedes any other.
SELF-RESPONSIBILITY: Divine Humanity is a religion of
self-responsibility. There is no one else to blame for ones life. Life as
‘mystery’ happens; how we respond to it is the key to love and power.
WORSHIP: Divine Humanity recognizes the
love/light of God in all things. All of the earth, not just a specific area,
place, or land, is holy. Divine Humanity
acknowledges the sky as the roof of its church and the earth as its
foundation.
