"Know Thyself" (Chilon of Sparta)

Divine Humanity is based on the religious philosophy of Interpenetrating Radical Non-duality - Oneness. This is not a belief but a knowing as I have experienced this reality. I tell about my experience in Chapter 16 of The Greatest Lie Ever Told under The Exorcist that came to the Sacred Mountain to Find Me.

Our religious experiences have been firsthand. This is a term coined by William James in his classic book The Varieties of Religious Experience that refers to ‘religious geniuses’ direct experience of the realities of the unseen world. This is in direct opposition to secondhand religion that people acquire through tradition.

Here is a fact: the majority of religious writers, scholars, priests, ministers, rabbis and other religious leaders of our day are secondhand mouthpieces and not teachers or students of what I would call nature’s truths of God’s reflection, sanctification practices and/or indigenous shamanic teachings and practices such as the death and re-birth ceremonial ritual of bathing. But, Jesus was and I am.

In addition to my vision, which I recount in Who Am I to Call for a Revolution and in Chapter One of The Greatest Lie Ever Told, I have been honored and recognized by Otherworldly spiritual powers—angels—and have journeyed to all parts of the world to directly experience the mysteries of heaven and earth. I have experienced the descent of a spirit just as “Jesus experienced the descent of a spirit upon him—the experience that made a man a magician.” An esoteric priest on a sacred mountaintop in Japan performed a descending spirit exorcism on me in 1987.[i] This was a personal body and mind experience of interpenetrating non-duality.

For the greater well-being, Rev. Dr. JC Husfelt, philosopher, and Rev. Sherry Husfelt are simply reconnecting humanity’s mind to an ancient stream of lost spiritual and mystical knowledge.

In October of 1993, Rev. Dr. JC Husfelt and Rev. Sherry Husfelt conducted a journey to the Big Island of Hawaii. In the pre-dawn hours, JC experienced the divine 'call' both as something heard and something seen—in the form of a vision and a voice. “this star is you; you are this star; the purification is of the people; all are one.” From this divine ‘call’ or ‘ordination’ came the message of Divine Humanity.

JC and Sherry pursue and relish the clarity of experiential knowledge. For over 30 years they have been on a journey, both literally and metaphorically, to touch the spiritual and healing lore of indigenous cultures throughout the world. The trip has taken them through the Americas, to the windswept barrens of the British Isles, onward across continental Europe, to Asia and Polynesia. Since receiving his Doctorate in Divinity, JC has authored four books, two of which are currently available, with the third and fourth forthcoming.
