We believe in the
spirit of Aloha. It essentially
means that I acknowledge the creator, the sun, within you as you acknowledge
the creator, the sun, within me. Alo means ‘in the presence
of’ and Ha is ‘the breath of life/creation.’ Aloha is not only a greeting, but it is
also the spiritual essence of the islands. Aloha is
a wonderful gift and a most beautiful way to express our message, that we are
all divine human beings.
The Aloha
spirit is the spirit of oneness and the love that is the breath of the soul. It
is a loving state of mind where hate has no resting place. To the Hawaiians Aloha
represents love. All of life is founded on this love, the love of the sea, the
love of the sky and the love of the land, and all its inhabitants. And to these
beautiful people, the greatest earthly expression of this love is the love of
family.
This is the love that we teach. This is divine love, love
that is unconditional. It is the love reflected in the earth and in the heavens
and in the joy that is life. It is the
angelic starlight that vibrates deeply within each of us and in all of nature.

Even though Divine Humanity is a religious philosophy of
spirituality, and of the individual, we realize that gathering together with
others of similar beliefs is very important to a person’s spiritual and
personal development.
Divine Humanism is not an institutional or organized
religion. Divine Humanism does not have a hierarchy or dogmatic creeds of
behavior and worship. Each person is responsible for their own spiritual
growth, for their own divineness, and for their own humanness.
However, we do
have guidelines for any person that is interested in conducting Divine Humanity
Community Circles. If you are such a person and would like help in forming a
community circle, please Contact Us or e-mail us at spirit@divinehumanity.com. We will then
send you our guidelines, which will begin you, or continue you, on a path of
service to the heavens, to the earth and to humanity. Thank you.
“Matthew… As you pointed out, The Morning Star is often attributed to Venus, but the Egyptian alchemists had another interpretation for the term—the symbol of half-sun half-moon was applied to two states of existence held together within one body. Later that wedding of opposites was taken to represent a desire to awaken and break free from the lonely sleep of the conscious mind. The Morning Star signals the way to a passage between the separate halves of our own being. It is one thing to locate the passage and quite another to pass through it.” (The Morning Star, Nick Bantock)
“I am ever amazed at the number of people that have told me that they do not believe in God. But in truth, it’s only their dis-belief in the prevalent Christianized description of God as a trinity of male dominance or as some have told us—a grandfatherly figure to be feared. The extent of people’s skepticism can best be illustrated by a bumper sticker that I recently saw: ‘Dear God, Please save me from your followers.’ This really says it all. The problem is not about God but about institutionalized religion.” JC Husfelt, D.D.
“Those who believe
in the infallibility of the Bible are blindly stuck in an elusive, dogmatic
quagmire of mistranslation, misinterpretations and misinformation.” I Am a Sun of God, And So Are You
"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal god and avoid dogma and theology. It should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity" Albert Einstein
"If man today does not find a new way of thinking, humanity may well be doomed to extinction." Albert Einstein

Divine Humanity
My vision occurred in the pre-dawn when I saw a star shining
brighter than any other and the voice from heaven said: This Star is You; You are this Star….
Divine (divine spark/light) Humanity (unique intrinsic identity) is encoded within
these words: This Star is You—this is my divine
essence; You are this Star—this is my unique intrinsic identity as the Morning
Star.
Encoded within the Old Testament is another event that
portrays Divine Humanity: Moses vision of the Burning Bush—this was the bush that was not consumed by
fire: Burning (divine spark/light) Bush (unique intrinsic identity). Moses
vision was not of a flame suspended in mid-air—this would have just portrayed
divineness. And his vision was not of an ordinary bush. It was of both together
as One—an interpenetrating Oneness of the sacred and the mundane; of the finite and the infinite.
Another important symbolic representation is the removing of
his sandals. With his bare feet on the sacred earth, there was no separation
between him and the sacredness of the earth. What does this act tell you?
We leave you with a quote from Margaret Mead, “Never doubt
that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed,
it’s the only thing that ever has.” JC and Sherry
